Mr. Nathan Pring

Nathan works out of TFC Podiatry in Point Cook, he is a resident of Point Cook and understands the busy lifestyles of young active individuals. Nathans focus is on sports injury rehabillitation and managing sports related foot, ankle and lower limb injuries. He is highly experienced in undertaking nail surgeries and injection therapy.

Nathan has undertaken additional training and worked as an accredited personal trainer for several years. He is very experienced in the prescription of custom foot orthotics and understands how they can benefit in the rehabilitation and prevention of sporting injuries. With a 20 year history of playing cricket at a high level plus many other sports such as tennis, basketball, netball, soccer, running and volleyball he brings excellent skills in sports injury rehabilitation.

Nathan is currently training to undertake a 10km fun run at Werribee Mansion.

Mr. Christopher Wevling

Chris brings experience from previously working as a Podiatrist in the acute hospital and community rehabilitation setting. Chris has a special interest in sports Podiatry. Chris plays netball and is involved in strength training. However Chris’s main love is running. Chris understands the importance of proper rehabilitation of tissues after an injury. He excels at improving athletes performance and decreasing the chances of further injuries and problems, this is through the understanding that pain is not always a reliable indicator of tissue function.

Chris runs at multiple local events every year and is currently training for a massive bike ride. In 2021 Chris has completed a charity bike ride from Bairnsdale to Warnambool in 24 Hours, 600Km! Chris has also competed in the Melbourne Marathon in 2021 with a finishing time of 3 Hours and 8 Minutes. Being a person who loves sport, running and bike riding. Chris understands your need to get back to your sport quickly and at full function. With a diverse treatment skill set, Chris will aim to get you back to sports ASAP. Chris works out of TFC Podiatry in Yarraville full time including late night and Saturdays.

Mr. Jayden Schulz

Mr. Jayden Schulz

Podiatrist

B.HSc, Ma.PodPrac (LaTrobe University)

Jayden studied Podiatry at La Trobe University. He grew up playing multiple sports and over time became interested in the copious amounts of stress that sport can place on the lower limb. This interest to further understand lower limb biomechanics and function is what drove Jayden to pursue his studies in Podiatry.

Jayden enjoys treating all population groups but has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of sports injuries. He understands firsthand the importance of sports in living a healthy lifestyle and aims to get his patients back playing as soon as possible.

Outside of Podiatry, Jayden plays Basketball and Australian Rules Football. He has also more recently taken up running and cycling. Jayden is an avid Western Bulldogs fan and goes to most games with his family. Be sure to ask him who is favourite player is!

Jane completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Podiatric Practice degrees at La Trobe University, Melbourne. She enjoys all aspect of Podiatric care but has a particular interest in the prevention, treatment and management of sports injuries affecting the lower body.

Originally from regional Victoria, Jane relocated to Melbourne to pursue both her academic and elite sporting goals.

Jane’s experience as an elite netballer gives her firsthand knowledge of the importance in looking after your body and getting back to sport as soon as possible.

Away from Podiatry, Jane spends the majority of her time at the netball court training and playing but also enjoys spending her downtime with family and friends.

Lachie Ash-Smith

Lachie has recently moved from the mostly sunny state of Queensland where he has worked in predominantly biomechanical and sports focused practices. He also has experience working with the NDIS, aged care, sporting teams/clubs, orthotic design and manufacturing. Lachie has come from a running, triathlon and rugby league background. At present, he is heavily involved in distance running and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Lachie loves to work with athletes of all calibers and ages focusing on injury management, prevention, running analysis/technique improvement, and preparing for events/races.

Lachie is looking forward to racing a number of half and full marathons this year and hoping to finally crack the illusive 3 hour barrier. He is also hoping to compete in various Jiu Jitsu comps throughout the year. If he isn’t out being active, you may find him hunting through your local record store or watching the Canberra Raiders send him grey before 35.

Ameer completed his of Podiatry at La Trobe University, Melbourne and has a special interest in sports Podiatry. This is largely due to his continued participation in sports such as soccer and basketball. Sports such as these are what first ignited his curiosity in human movement and led to his studies in Podiatry!

Ameer enjoys caring for all foot and ankle-related issues but has a keen interest in sports podiatry and aiding athletes of all levels to return to activity and normal function.

Ameer has experience working at shoe specialist stores for several years and is a self-proclaiming “Shoe Geek”. This has provided him with extensive knowledge on all types of athletic footwear.

In his own time, Ameer likes to keep up with the latest news on shoes and keeps a keen eye on lots of different sports across the globe. He is currently training for his first half-marathon later in the year.

Miss. Amelia Turner

B.Pod (Charles Sturt University)

Amelia commenced her career as a Podiatrist following completion of a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2013.
These qualifications were completed at Charles Sturt University, Vic. She has a special interest in biomechanics and the treatment of painful lower limb musculoskeletal injuries. She also has a special interest in children’s Podiatry and loves working to improve their daily function.

During her down time Amelia loves reading, spending time with friends and family.

Miss. Ashley Wevling

Miss. Ashley Wevling

Ashley has vast experience working within the western suburbs for over 10 years. She currently works as the senior clinician within a local public health organisation providing clinical support to a team of 6 Podiatrists. Ashley is experienced in all areas of Podiatry including Diabetes foot examinations, dermatological care, and managing acute/chronic sporting injuries. She recently undertook a project on the implementation of dry needling for musculoskeletal injuries.

Ashley has a special interest and expertise in the treatment of Paediatric lower limb conditions. She attends regular professional development seminars on children’s Podiatry.

Ashley is currently on maternity leave from TFC Podiatry.
